What is Yuzu?

1000---What is Yuzu?

I spy a new Sodaly flave. Yes, the rumours are true, we have released not just one but TWO new Sodaly flaves for you all to enjoy.

Our first is Sodaly Pineapple. Pretty straightforward, if you ask us. Those big ol' spiky fruits that taste like summer? Yeah, we made a Sodaly taste like that.

But our second is Sodaly Yuzu Lemon, and quite a few people (even in Remedy HQ) haven't known how to make heads or tail of this situation.

We've been hearing "that is DELICIOUS" followed promptly by "but what exactly IS yuzu?"

What is yuzu?

According to the website schools everywhere tell you not to quote (oh hey old pal Wikipedia), yuzu is "a citrus fruit and plant in the family Rutaceae of East Asian origin". That's way too wordy for our liking and doesn't really answer the question anyway.

Yuzu is a citrus fruit. It's often referred to as a Japanese lemon, with hints of mandarin, grapefruit and of course, lemon.

In our Sodaly Yuzu Lemon, you can expect a burst of citrus with the lively essence of Japanese yuzu and tangy lemon. A playful fizz and uplifting flavour, it's the ultimate refresher for any time of day, any day of the year, any year of the millennia.

And of course, any millennia of time as we know it. Not to get too vast with it or anything...

This banger of a bev is sitting pretty on a shelf near you right now, either shelved digitally right over here or physically at your local Woolies store.
